5 of Bostons Best Bars and Pubs

As the Covid-19 Pandemic winds down (knock on wood) and we see a lifting of general restrictions we are poised to see a resurgence of some popular activities, such as going out on the town for a night of fun in the bars, restaurants, or even just going to the movies. As we see mask mandates lift from neighborhood to neighborhood and then business to business the tidal wave of folks clamoring to get out is going to be huge. So in preparation for that we just wanted to go over some of our favorite haunts in the city!

The Hub Pub

Located in the heart of Boston this watering hole not only satisfies thirst but has a kitchen to write home about. Even though lobster rolls are a dime a dozen in New England this one is worth its weight in well, Lobster. With a chef unafraid of seasoning the food this lobster roll will hit your table with a light coating mayo and a delightfully soft and toasted bun. Definitely one of the places you should be trying as the return to going out culture begins.

The Corner Pub

A 10 minute walk for most evening goers The Corner Pub is sure to keep their 12 beers on tap cycling, and the snacks! They will keep you firmly planted in your seat, wanting to try more, especially the variety of Egg Rolls. Get a real feeling for what it’s like to go out in Boston and experience this place

JJ Foley’s

A classic Irish pub and Boston institution, if you’re just visiting the city this is the place to go. Beer is always cold, Cocktails poured right, and the food comes out perfect every time. From family dinners, to birthdays, to business dinners or lunches, this is the place to bring anybody. We recommend trying the Classic Cheeseburger or the French Onion Soup.

JM Curley

Just the best place to get an evening drink and light snack, I personally like starting my night here as The Mixologists on staff have a talent for making some really great cocktails that pair with all sorts of goodies out of the kitchen. The beer ain’t bad either with an incredibly extensive selection of craft brews. This is the best bar to go to try a new drink, because they will definitely treat you right.

The Publick House

This is a Boston Beer nerds’ mecha, with a selection so wide that I won’t try to say a number as it’s constantly growing. The Publick House will treat you to a night of some of the most interesting beers available on the market today. So go for an evening and get a flight, I promise you’ll have a great time.
